Wonderful place to stay! Secluded, yet part of a village. Close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. We loved our visit to Maui…made even better by a clean, affordable and private place to stay!
We have stayed before at Ekahi and generally enjoy the property. This condo is a studio, which is plenty big. We booked short notice and only two nights, so our selection was limited. Was nice that it had lots of beach toys, chairs, cooler, umbrella to use (although we didn’t use), but it was loud as the back patio backed to the street. The air conditioner was an “old school” small wall unit that took about 12 hours to cool the condo down upon arrival. And it was loud and ran 24/7 to maintain a decent temperature. We will definitely stay at Ekahi again, but will likely look for a different unit.

Place is really old. Doesn’t even have a smart TV for the kids to watch something. Condo has a mildew smell. Room was dusty. Price was too much for such a small and outdated place. Pictures are inaccurate. Shows a place near waterfront but it’s actually a 5-10 minute walk. Place is tucked away. Should be 1k less for the size and outdated place. Other than the place itself, location is great and very peaceful.

Unit 52B was VERY well-prepared for us. Spk by ph w/ Mgr upon arr’l. VERY helpful throughout our stay. Two minor suggestions: (1) Couch is dur replacement due to fraying and stains (all minor, but I’d replace it if it was in my home), and (2) For shower safety, recommend safety strips on floor of tub and safety/grab bars on shower walls. Price was VERY reasonable for these GREAT accommodations in HI! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The landscaping and facilities we amazing at this resort. The unit was clean and quiet.

Roadside garden view studio. As expected.
Bed size was not advertised correctly! The bed had a queen headboard with only a double mattress. There are no baking dishes or baking pans to use in the oven. The complex had beautiful grounds and was very quiet. Easy walk to an incredible beach and pool area.

Cost effective but more information at the onset would have been nice. Wasn’t given codes to the pool or beach gates. Had to track them down to access really them most important features of the property. Probably would book this place again.
Headline: Clean studio at a fair price.
Positive: Good value.
Negative: Pillows low quality. Pots and pans low quality. Road noise ok with windows shut. Night light only on one side of bed.
