Enjoy the comfort of grilling by the courtyard pool and convenience of walking to dining, shopping, activities and beach rentals at the nearby Kahana Gateway Center. Access to the premier golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are only minutes away, while world-class snorkeling is just out your front door. No wonder it is our most requested property of all. The Valley Isle Resort is an oceanfront unit (no beach) within walking distance to Maui Brewing Co., The Beach House Bar and Grill, Miso Phat Sushi, and Dollie’s Café and Pub.

1. Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): Generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills and large grassy area

Can’t beat the view and the location was nice and quiet. Perfect place for a chill vacation!
We booked this condo specifically for the spectacular view. The bedroom’s windows open to the shared hallway, but the lanai is right on the water, with Molokai and Lana’i in the distance. Trade winds are strong so there’s no need for A/C. We made good use of the in-unit washer/dryer and full kitchen. Bathroom is cramped, but shower is good (strong water pressure and handheld head). Highly recommend.

– great building with pretty landscaping and family friendly community (we aren’t a family so it’s also friendly to single couples but noticed a lot of families having a great time)
– unbelievable view
– sea turtles and gorgeous snorkeling right outside the building
– SUP and surf rentals across the street
– Great local coffee shop, groceries and souvenir shopping in the center a 2 minute walk away
– short drive to Whaler’s Village and popular spots
Can’t recommend this spot highly enough.
Some past reviews scared me and I was a little nervous about bugs, the lack of AC, and the location. I was glad to arrive and see these old complaints are way unfounded based on our experience. We had no issues at all. And the Tradewinds provide an INCREDIBLE breeze that makes AC unnecessary.

The view is the best thing about this unit. This place is TIRED and needs some love. The location and the lanai was the main reason I stayed here but the inside of the unit needs help. The bathroom is old and gross. I bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned up and it was ok but it was expensive for how run down the unit is
The balcony view of the ocean is the highlight of this place! We saw whales from the balcony and watched the sunrise most mornings. The beach access is a small sandy area but it was nice for times when we had an hour or two before our next plans. The location is pretty good, it’s past Kaanapali to the north and I thought it would be a lot closer to Lahaina than it was. There were areas in the bathroom and kitchen that could use a scrub to feel a bit cleaner. Overall would recommend staying here and we had a great time on Maui!
