The Valley Isle Resort is an oceanfront unit (no beach) within walking distance to Maui Brewing Co., The Beach House Bar and Grill, Miso Phat Sushi, and Dollie’s Café and Pub.

1. Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills and large grassy area.
2. Honokowai Beach Park: great for snorkeling due to shallow, reef protected beach, Children’s playground area, plenty of shade, tables and BBQ grills.
3. Pohaku Park (S-Turns): calmer during summer months, sandy and rocky shoreline, picnic tables.

The kitchen cabinet facing is coming off. No storage bowls. The stove burners didn’t turn off properly, but figured it out. The fridge door handle was taped on. The second bedroom – one of the twin bed headboards were not attached to the rails, so it hit the wall every time you bumped it. Only one kitchen cloth and towel.
There was always hot water available and the view was breath taking.
We watched turtles swim by from our lanai and the view was beautiful. The condo was well equipped and clean. It was comfortable. The pool and gardens were nice. We loved this condo but they claimed they had two parking spots for two bedroom units. This was not true. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.
It’s a nice place for a group of people to stay on a budget. It’s not a high end type of resort, but it did feel like home. The room and the resort were clean, very friendly people everywhere. Definitely recommend.
Nice place to stay with family . Next to sea shore you can hear sound of waves . Very nice view of sea from living room and bed room .
We even spotted turtles from living room patio.
Very well equipped kitchen with all utensils , dishes , cutlery , pots , basic spices , oil .
Also host provided sea towels , chairs , mats
Very clean, great ocean front. Beds especially twin beds and sofa bed were very hard. Woke up sore every morning. Everything was excellent except beds.
Good location. No beach due to wave erosion. Unit was in dire need of maintenance. Unable to open oven due to fridge blocking the oven door.
It was a great place to stay and enjoy the view of ocean side.

Place has a great view both during the day and at night. Beach is easily accessible plus green sea turtles and a monk seal are always around. Comfortable for our family of 5. Need to have the lanai doors open when sleeping to get the island breeze and it’ll stay cool at night.
Property is clean, and basically as described. We saw tons of turtles from the balcony, and that was worth some of the appliances being a little on the fritz. Management was quick to send someone up when we asked, they quickly fixed the slow-draining sink and a fan that wasn’t working. The tv was difficult to work with (stopped working/connecting to channels on our last night) and the lamp by the couch seemed to have a wire malfunctioning (had to set the cord up a certain way or light would flicker). We did point out that our lanai door was broken/off the track, but they made it usable for the duration of our stay. For the price, this place was perfect, easy to get to, close to a pizza place and 2 great shops for clothing/some groceries. It seems like it might just need a little love/updating of some small features. Twin beds also squeaky unless we placed a hand towel on the frame between the headboard and wall. Mattresses all comfy!

10 out of 10. cannot beat it for twice the price. ocean sounds all day. watching whales and turtles from the balcony literally every single day while getting ready. location is easy, not a busy area, parking is great, front desk is helpful, whole building is clean and very quiet. beach access less than 5 minutes from your room on the 8th floor. it is a little out dated but that’s part of what makes it feel authentic to hawaii. like watching the original lilo and stitch. master bed faces the ocean and the sound of waves helps you sleep HEAVY.
NO AC, but the ocean breeze at night makes it pretty chilly in there, and during the day its no hotter inside than it is outside, just keep the fan going.
my whole family loved it. we will definitely check if its available next time we come
