This is a wonderful condo with beautiful views and a great private beach. Restaurants, coffee, and shops a block away. Very close to great snorkeling. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
The condo was beautiful and had amazing views. It was exactly as described. I couldn’t ask for a better location. It was easy to get to and close to shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this space. I look forward to going back and would rent this place in a heartbeat!!
Loved the location and the unit was great. No AC wasn’t too bad, although a few nights the back bedroom got a bit too warm. We had a small incident of getting locked out on the patio and getting to someone on property or at Chasing Rainbows was a bit of a challenge but once we did they did come assist. I would stay here again for sure though!
Chase & Rainbows did a great job at answering every question we had. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. There was a washer and dryer in the unit, along with a vacuum, which made post-beach cleanup very easy. There is not AC in the unit, but all of the lanai doors and windows open, so if you are inside of the condo that will help a lot. The front bedroom does face the elevators, so you will hear any passerby noises should someone come up/walk past.
Inside of the closet were boogie boards, pool noodles, lawn chairs, a cooler, a child’s life jacket, and other beach items in a box. That was a great surprise! We were also given basic toiletries, tide detergent (2 single-load boxes) and dishwashing pods/detergent. Our only complaint was the lack of AC because it did get toasty, but we knew that going in. So we definitely rate this location and the hosts 5 stars!
We loved our stay in the condo!! We were walking distance or a short drive to everything we needed. every day we saw sea turtles either on the beach or swimming in the ocean. my family really enjoyed themselves and will be back in the coming years.
A few this space could use:
1. AC – west Maui is HOT. It’s hot in the morning and in the evening and at night. Not having AC can be really uncomfortable. There are fans which helped but still uncomfortably hot.
2. Common walkways – the walkway to get to other apartments is located next to one of the bedroom windows. This is awkward if you’re trying to let air flow in to cool the place, especially at night when you’re trying to sleep. It also felt a little unsafe as the window screen had clearly been bent for access prior (not sure if it was broken into or someone got locked out and accessed it that way).
3. Beds – something I always look for when I travel is a comfortable bed. These beds were probably a 4/10; not the most comfortable bed but prefer it to the floor or an air mattress.
This apartment was clean – no roaches like prior posts stated. It has an amazing oceanfront view, and parking was easy. We likely won’t stay here again just because of AC and walkway awkwardness.
Great place to spend 10 days had everything we needed. Would stay again in the future!
We stayed for 6 nights in this beautiful condo on the water. The view was absolutely breathtaking. This Airbnb has a stove, microwave, full size fridge, blender, coffee maker, toaster, you name it! Could’ve used some more glassware though as there were 4 of us. The master bath only runs extremely hot water which could use a fix. All of the other faucets are able to be adjusted cooler or warmer without issue. But despite these minor hiccups we really enjoyed our stay. The view from the master at night is stunning, you can see nearly every star in the sky. There’s no A/C but you don’t need it. The unit has plenty of standing or ceiling mounted fans. When the front door is left open it brings in a very nice and cooling breeze. The beach is super close and we got to see tons of marine wildlife which was so cool. All this to say, we will be happy and excited to come back again! Mahalo, Chase N Rainbows!
The stay during our vacation was amazing. The rooms were all well prepared and clean for our arrival. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing.
