I have stayed in the complex many times over the years, and this is definitely the best unit yet! Nicer than the pictures, quiet, nice furniture and super comfy!
Excellent walkable location to access the local restaurants and beaches ( minutes away only). well stocked with all supplies for a comfortable stay. Parking onsite is easy . Clean overall . Recommend this place to stay in kihei area

A lovely apartment with ground floor access can watch sunset from back porch. Condo was well stocked with everything we needed, including kitchen. The owners thought of everything. Very clean and well maintained. The property was also well maintained. Would highly recommend this place!
Unfortunately it’s not possible for me to give a 5 star review, which is due to the host and not the unit. To start with the positive, the unit itself is excellent. The condo is in very good condition and has every amenity you will need. We previously stayed in unit 109 at Shores of Maui and had a great experience, and this one was no different. Shores of Maui is a beautiful place and great location!
Now for the unfortunate negative. We had a late flight and arrived to the unit at 10 pm only to find that the code provided for the lock did not work. In the checkin info we were provided with two different phone numbers to call after hours in case of an issue, neither of them answered. We tried calling for 45 minutes and ultimately had to go find a hotel for the night. They did not get back to us until 9 am the next day and were not particularly apologetic. This is the problem with renting from rental companies as opposed to individuals. I would not recommend renting from Maui Rental.

Great location.
By far the most stocked house that i ever stayed from beach equipments to kitchens cookware/spices. Some places supply will only last you for less than few days expected you to go buy but here supply from body soaps to washing detergent will last you more than one week especially if you are there for one week is tough to make time to run errand.
Easy check in.
AC was very cool over all and the bedroom was not hot only needing a fan.
The backyard has easy access to pool area.
Two minor issues one were that the sofa bed has a plastic bed wrap so it was making nosies during sleep when you move around but it should be an easy fix.
Secondly the house was close to a main road in the back so once a while you hear bikers passing by at night time especically if you would like to open the balcony door to sleep but it was only once a while it happened during our stayed.
Over all a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay. There was a lovely kitchen complete with everything needed. We used the beach chairs. The lanai was lovely in the mornings – looking out to the ocean. Great location. The A/C was not working and it was repaired quickly.
The condo has everything you need to make your vacation comfortable including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and soap/shampoo/conditioner. It is right across from a calm cove beach so I was able to rent a surfboard from Surf Shack Maui nearby and go surfing everyday. It is also walking distance from great restaurants, grocery store, and coffee, which was wonderful. The place had easy parking right out front and easy check in either a door keypad.
My only complaint was that they make you register at a 3rd party site portal for check in and information for your stay when they can easily just communicate the information via the Airbnb messaging like they are supposed to. All in all, it was a very comfortable place in a great spot and I highly recommend this stay for your next Maui trip!

Place was as described. It had a nice view of the surfers in the morning while you had your morning coffee. The place is well equipped with WiFi, streaming TV subscriptions so you don’t miss your favorite shows, coffee, washer dryer, dishwasher, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and clothing detergent. Basically, just bring food and fluids for the fridge and your toothbrush and toothpaste. You don’t have to shop for toilet paper and dish soap like some other places that literally only provide four walls. It’s clean and doesn’t feel dated like other places on Kehei Rd. Will definitely return.

Tidy, attractive 1 BR unit. We love the proximity to beaches, Paia Fish, cinnamon rolls, morning walks, etc.!!
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, le code pour la porte ne fonctionnait pas. En moins de 15 minutes le tout était réglé. Logement sécuritaire. Tous les articles nécessaires pour la plage sont présents. Beaucoup de commodités. Très propre et bon emplacement. À distance de marche de restaurants. La plage en avant n’est pas très grande mais facile de se déplacer sur d’autres plus grandes et plus belles. Tous les articles pour l’entretien et le lavage sont présents. Pas besoin de courir pour trouver du détergent pour la lessive, tout y est! Nous avons apprécié les glacières et équipements de plage (parasols, chaises, serviettes). L’air climatisée fonctionne très bien, belle luminosité dans l’appartement, stationnement facile. Un très bon choix pour les voyageurs de courte durée!

Headline: Awesome location and plenty of amenities made for a great vacation.
Positive: The location was perfect! We were in walking distance to the beach, the grocery store, and lots of dining options. The property itself had everything we needed.
Negative: Availability to a couple of extra blankets and pillows for the sofa bed would’ve been nice.
This was a mixed experience. The location was fine. Across from the beach. Nice view. Some restaurants nearby. The location and description was accurate. My bigger issue was either with the landlord or the property management group. They required a different contract in which they said they can change the rates on you if they “made a mistake.” So keep and eye on that. They sent several texts, emails, and phone calls to get our email to “send check in instructions on their portal.” But we got the same/similar instructions through AirBnB. Not sure why they needed the email. They also said there was enough soap, toilet paper, and trash bags for 24 hours and to get your own. That wasn’t accurate. Not sure why they said that. Their online instructions were wrong for the WiFi. eventually found them in the house.
Overall, that was the oddest experience with a property management group I’ve had on AirBnB.
This place is fantastic for two, It would get crowded with more. It is very walkable to some amazing restaurants and a short driving distance to others. Located near some awesome beaches both either walkable and driveable. Equipped with everything you need for the beach. Chairs, towels and umbrellas. Equipped with essentials to get you through the first few days depending on how long you’re staying. Having a washer and dryer in the unit made ALL the difference to be able to go home with clean clothing.
Cons. The bed is extremely soft. My back didn’t agree with it and resulted in some back pain but if you like a soft bed this place is your jam. I get that this place is close to the beach and sand is unavoidable but we abided by the shoes off rule and were still surprised by the amount of sand in the unit. Towels had some stains on them and smelled of mildew but having the washer and dryer corrected that issue easily.
Would stay in this unit again if the mattress were more firm.

Positive: Nice and equiped apartment close to the city center of Kihei, with ocean view. Enough parking space foreseen. The main food truck market is on waking distance.

The main selling point of this rental was the view from the patio. Approx 10 days prior there was an accident which resulting in closure of patios in complex. We were not notified of closure until our arrival , not giving us an opportunity to find another place to suit our desires for vacation. Co indicated they will look into some compensation, but they are giving us the runaround. WiFi was in accurate info as well as pool access code wrong
