Begin the day with ocean views in a tropical garden setting from Ka’anapali’s North Course across the street from North Ka’anapali Beach.
This space has 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, both bedrooms feature comfy king-size beds. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. This ground-floor condo has a few steps down into the entrance. Both bathrooms feature double vanity sinks and tiled walk-in showers. Resort features: Tennis courts, pool, and shuffleboard. While the resort does not offer guest BBQ there is a George Foreman Grill in the condo for guest use Just a short drive or 10-15 minute walk to the famous Airport Beach on Ka’anapali Beach.

1. Kaanapali Beach – Black Rock Beach: generally calm conditions, excellent swimming and snorkeling, walking trail off beach
2. Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills and large grassy area.
3. Honokowai Beach Park: great for snorkeling due to shallow, reef protected beach, Children’s playground area, plenty of shade, tables and BBQ grills.

A great setup in condo for 2 couples. The second bedroom bed is very soft and uncomfortable in my opinion. Condo looking a bit shabby and worn, could use a deep cleaning. A 5 min walk to a nice beach.
The home was clean and very comfortable. The furniture and beds were good. The utensils and kitchenware was great. Nice lanai with an ocean view. We also enjoyed the pool being so close. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes with a slight hill coming back. Plenty of parking at the beach for a vehicle. Pretty central to just about everything in West Maui.
Fair pice, location is close to most places.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Plantation #52. The property management was responsive, however, they are closed on weekends so if you have any issues with the unit, you’ll need to wait until the weekdays to have them resolved. The location was good if you plan to stay in the west side most of the time, otherwise, you’ll find yourself driving a lot. We found ourselves having to drive North (Kahului and Wailuku) quite often because of hiking, places to eat, etc.
There were a few issues such as incorrect wifi password that was provided and the washer not functioning but those were resolved quickly. In terms of the wifi password, I called the office but they did not have the password and so we checked the modem to get the password and got the wifi working. In terms of the washer not working, they offered to pick-up our clothes and wash them for us but we declined. However, they sent their maintenance guy over in the morning and he was able to fixed the washer.
Last note, the floors were a bit dirty but there were swiffer wet wipes in the kitchen so I used those to clean the floors. The room with the view could use a new mattress because it sunk in the middle so it wasn’t the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. It also definitely needed an AC in that room because it gets the most sun in that room which made it extremely warm/hot.
Great communication with property management. Condo has been recently painted. The ocean view is much better than we anticipated.
I would make sure the sofa has been replaced before renting.
It was a pleasant stay while we were on vacation. The view was absolutely beautiful and I would love to stay here again for the next trip. So glad to have found this place.

We loved our stay at Kaanapali Plantation #52! It was an easy walk to the beach (which I did almost every day). It was clean and comfortable.
This condo is located on the west side of Maui, in the Kaanapali area, close to great beaches. It is spacious and well outfitted for your own food prep and space. The only missing item was oven mitts! – getting the Thanksgiving turkey roaster out of the oven resulted in a bad burn. We contacted the rental management company well before needing them, but none were brought!!! The view of the ocean from the lanai & master bedroom is amazing. Wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee. The unit floor was filthy when we arrived, so we called the agency and they sent the cleaner to redo it – much appreciated but an inconvenience. The oven was also found not cleaned – the oven cleaner had not been wiped off so when using it for the first time, a strong chemical smell was evident. We had to turn it off, let the oven cool, clean it and then start cooking a couple hours late. Another inconvenience. The management company sent a cleaner the next day to clean the oven: did not inform us anyone was coming in!!!! We found the oven racks were changed around when we got back. We did not appreciate someone coming into our suite without warning. These issues are not owner related – it’s a lovely place and is nicely furnished. The boogie boards and beach chairs need replacing though – well past their best before date.And Lastly, the unit is located on the ground level with another Condo above. You hear every step the people above take! It’s an older building and not sound proof.
Incredible scenic views from bedroom and patio. Sunset and sunrises daily. Private and peaceful neighborhood. Walked daily to the beach and island pressed coffee (our fav). Will be rebooking this exact spot on our next trip.

Property was not as nice as it appeared on online.Also, some of the functions of the property were not working. For instance the master bedroom blinds were broken and the bathroom sinks were not draining well.The kitchen note was fully stocked, and the location was good
This place was great! We liked that it wasnt near all the resorts full of people. It was peaceful and quiet. One of the bedrooms has a small AC so that helped on evenings where the apartment was hot. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful view and perfect location near by Whaler’s Village and Kaanapali Beach. Was a great stay for us for the price. Beautiful porch with incredible view of the ocean. We had three guests and fit great, one room is a bit larger and had a window AC unit which was a relief! The other room did not have AC which is what was advertised, but it did get pretty warm even with opening the sliding door with a fan. They did provide 5 fans in the closet in that room and we used them to circulate the air. It did not keep us from sleeping though so it was totally fine! Large kitchen and living room area. The washer and dryer were clean and worked well. Showers are a little small, but not bad. Everything was clean. Furniture is a bit outdated but wasn’t an issue as we spent most of our time exploring Maui and not in the condo. Free parking was also a huge plus! Easy instructions to follow. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again! Thank you!
The condo itself is nicely furnished and comfortable, and it’s in a decent location if you have a car. However, keep in mind that beach access requires a steep 0.6-mile walk down a hill and across a busy four-lane highway.
One major issue during our stay was the motorized blinds, which blocked the ocean view and significantly reduced airflow—especially problematic since the unit doesn’t have air conditioning. It took three nights to get the blinds fixed, and during that time, there was no communication about the repair or clear instructions on which of the three remotes to use (two were broken). Even after they were fixed, it would have been helpful if someone had acknowledged the repair and explained how to operate them properly.
Unfortunately, the blinds broke again during our stay. I requested a 50% refund for those nights, which was denied by the host. I ended up opening a case with Airbnb, who reviewed the situation and gave us a 30% refund for the entire stay
Overall, this place was fine, but I don’t see the point in paying a cleaning fee, when we arrived the living area kitchen table was covered in about 2 inches of dust, the floors where filthy, the fridge was dirty on the inside, sheets had a couple of stains. Not to mention, the cleaning we are expected to do before we leave! I would really like to have the cleaning fee refunded.
The unit was so spacious and the views were beautiful. It was nearby many restaurants and wonderful beaches. There was only one AC unit, but that was listed in the listing, but the other room did get quite hot fans were provided, which helped, but that is to be expected in a tropical climate the unit itself was genuinely very beautiful and very roomy.
Great place to stay overall. Only complaint was that the back room was too hot to sleep in. Even with several fans constantly running, the unit had a hard time cooling down enough. We loved our time in Maui and we’d probably try to stay here again
We absolutely loved this place! Believe me when I say that the view from the master bedroom and the balcony are actually better than the pictures! Free + plentiful parking is also a plus since we rented a car and had family come over to swim, etc.. I loved the kitchen as well, very clean and spacious. We didn’t cook once but they definitely had all the things you would need if you wanted to! Highly recommend. We miss waking up to that view already ☀️
