Inside the apartment, this place is a 5. However, the building where it’s located is a little unusual. The first two floors are office space, and it’s in an area of government buildings, so nothing interesting around, other than the lagoon out back. However, it’s not too far to downtown (about a mile). For us, the best thing about the place is the view in the morning (it usually clouds up by the afternoon) of Mauna Kae (the highest mountain in Hawaii with observatories at the peak), which is pretty spectacular.
