We were a little worried when we booked this place since it only had two reviews, but I’m honestly so glad we chose it. It’s small, but it has everything we need. The ocean view is great, it’s close to a market and a shopping center, and the location is perfect, right in the center of the island, about equal distance from both the north and south shores.

We had a wonderful stay. Waking up to the sunrise every morning with coffee on the lanai and a great view of the ocean. Very convenient to be able to walk down the boardwalk, stores at coconut market place and the Lava Lava restaurant right next door. Host answered all my questions quickly. The space was comfortable for what we needed as we didn’t spend much time inside except to sleep. Very quiet and clean. The pictures don’t do it justice and might be a little outdated as they don’t show the boardwalk right out the window which was so nice to walk every night and enjoy the sunset. There is a pool a hot tub and a nice little tiki bar. Everything you could possibly want in walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!

Our trip to Kauai was a last minute decision so trying to find accommodations wasn’t easy. Just about everything was booked out so I was very skeptical of what was left. This Airbnb seemed like the best option left in comparison to prices and location. Well, I’m glad I booked this place because the location, view, and unit itself was great. We never had problems with parking even when we would return after 8pm, you just have to walk a few steps further. There is a ice machine at the next building over. We can’t speak for the pool or outdoor grill and bar as we didn’t use them. The best part is there is a ABC store nearby, about a few minutes walk away at the coconut market. And obviously the best part is your feet away from the beach. The unit provides and cooler so it was nice to put some ice and drinks into the cooler and chill on the beach chairs at sunset after a day out.

Overpriced; there were cockroaches climbing all over the walls, in the plates and cups, inside the cabinets and up and down the bathroom walls with the lights on and off. I even found them on the bed. The person checked in before me was still there up until 3pm although their checkout was supposed to be 11am. I had to wait for them to leave before I could check in to the room. The roaches were extremely gross

Overall, we enjoyed our time here! The mattress has two indents on each side and the pillows are very flat with little support. Even after turning the mattress around, this caused back/neck pains for both my husband and myself (35 and 31 y/o). The bathroom wall had dried boogers stuck to it behind the towels, and some drawers had long dead bugs. However, that being said… the space was homey and provided what we needed. There are yummy restaurants close by. The area was quiet. We LOVED keeping the back door open and listening to the waves at night. The beach is like 10 steps away, and has free lounge chairs. Parking was easy. Neighbors were friendly. If the bedding is replaced, we would 100% come back!!

Best part was the view from the balcony and how close it was to the beach. It was a good central location for going to different parts of the island. It was nice to be close to the Coconut Marketplace. However, there were a few frustrating things- parking was so tight that we cut short many trips to get back in time for a spot. The keypad to get in worked very sporadically which was a pain. The bedding fit so poorly that we had to remake the bed almost every day- mattress pad and all. Towels were skimpy . Should have been more towels available for a week’s stay. The refrigerator freezer is in desperate need of defrosting. It couldn’t be used. The room is dated and a bit sad. It just needs some attention.

By far the biggest assets of this property are the location and the view. There are lots of choices for for restaurants within walking distance and the resort itself is centrally located on the island.
